Summer of Ludo & Gilles
Food, French, Los Angeles, Restaurants August 5, 2019
For this summer, The Restaurant at Montage Beverly Hills has been transformed by Chef Ludo Lefebvre and his friend Gilles Epié. One of the most influential LA chefs, Chef Ludo, along with his notable French chef counterpart, are taking us to the French Riviera. The pop-up will focus on serving classics from the South of France, and will be open through the end of September.
Totoraku
Food, Japanese, Los Angeles, Restaurants, Steakhouse, Wine August 5, 2019
Taking out the fact that the food is amazing, Chef Kaz is his own enigma of energy and character. No dinner is complete at Totoraku unless you finish it drinking with the Chef into the early morning.
Milo & Olive
Food, Italian, Los Angeles, Restaurants June 22, 2019
As you know, I’m a huge fan of pizza, especially Neapolitan style pizza, and this did not disappoint.
Shibumi
Food, Japanese, Los Angeles, Restaurants June 22, 2019
I’ve been going to Shibumi for about a year now. It’s a downtown LA, Japanese kappo style restaurant with a pretty nice bar. They just recently got one star from the Michelin Guide so it’s really been blowing up.
Tar & Roses
American, Food, Los Angeles, Restaurants June 7, 2019
You NEED to go to Tar & Roses, aka my absolute favorite restaurant in Santa Monica. A tapas-esque New American restaurant by Andrew Kirschner.
Gwen
Food, Los Angeles, Restaurants, Steakhouse June 6, 2019
Gwen has an in-house butcher shop that both supplies the kitchen and also sells to the public every day of the week, where you can buy ethically raised, hormone-free, locally sourced meats. What more could you ask for?! You can also buy the infamous Australian Blackmore Wagyu beef, where only the highest marbled cuts are reserved for Gwen’s butcher shop.
